Curiosity Stream is rebooting history series Connections alongside UK-based producer Bigger Bang, with presenter James Burke returning four-and-a-half decades after it first launched.
First airing on the BBC in 1978, Connections became one of the most influential documentary series of all time with Burke taking a ‘connective’ look at history. It will see Burke take viewers on a journey of discovery through the interlocking threads of knowledge running through history, using state-of-the-art CGI and virtual reality.
Connections is executive produced by Iain Riddick for Bigger Bang and was commissioned by Rob Burk, head of content at Curiosity. John Cavanagh is the executive producer for Curiosity.
